Reincarnation of Fashion

Every year, women's fashion trends change, but some styles reappear. It's possible that styles we consider unfashionable today will be hot in ten years. Take a look at the reincarnation of various styles and trends in women's fashion throughout the years.

1960's
Vintage clothes and flower power were big in the 1960s. It was hippy chic during this time, with flared jeans and sandals being the style of choice. Around this time, the mini skirt made an impression and kept going strong throughout the 1970s. In this time period, kaftans and floral dresses became huge. In the 1960s, women wore stiletto heels, heavy make-up, and beaded jewelry.

1970's
Looks from the 1970s were inspired by styles from the 1920s and 1950s. It was also the era of flared trousers and mini skirts, as well as hot pants and shorts. During the 1970s, punk fashion came into play, and platforms were the shoe of choice.

1980's
Fashion in the 1980s was probably the most diverse and unusual it's ever been. Madonna made washed-out jeans and lace look cool during this era. It was also a time when leggings became popular, along with shell suits (which luckily didn't reappear).

1990's
During the 1990s, platform heels from the 1970s made a comeback, and some trends from the 20s and 60s also came back. At this time, mini skirts were back in style, as was grunge. The 1990s were the era of jeans, and most people still wear them. Back then, jeans and t-shirts were a staple outfit.

The Naughties!
There have been a lot of style reinventions since 2000, especially from the 1980s. In the past few years, puffball skirts and lace have become popular again, as have bright colors and different fabrics. Who would've thought leggings would make a comeback during this period, or that the vintage look from the 1960s would come back to inspire us again? In the 'naughties, mini skirts were also highly fashionable.
