Watches Are Back in Style - The New Urban Fashion Trend

Fashion trends and fads are everywhere in urban culture. There was a huge trend for baggy jeans for years. It's all but gone since the 90s. Bright colors were in style even in the 80s. People wore multicolored striped hats and purple track jackets. Urban fashion has always been around and will always be around if things keep going the same way. It's obviously expensive jewelry. Whether it's Mr. T and his thick gold chain or Lil John and his iced-out grill. The streetwear crowd, hip-hop fans, and rappers have always loved ice and bling. Successful rappers always have a few grand in jewelry on them.

There's one th
ing that doesn't change: the type of fashion jewelry. The 80s and early 90s were a big time for gold chains. There was a time when silver was cool. Then the ice got big (diamonds, silver, platinum). On the other hand, watches didn't have phases. They come and go. One generation it's a huge influence, the next it's just an accessory.

The mid-2000s was a low time for watch-wearing.
As a result, Flud came on the scene in 2007 with the desire to "restore the watch to its rightful place as one of the ultimate accessories." Two and a half years later, Flud is selling like crazy and celebrities like T.I. are wearing their watches. G-Shock watches are much older in the game. Everyone's got one. They've been worn by more celebrities than you can count. Watches have been around for a long time because of G Shock. People are starting to recognize watches again thanks to these companies. There's a good chance that the watch will become the most important accessory in a year or two.
